Getting Connected

You will need the official UO client and a Launcher to play here. Most players will use an assistant too. InsaneUO is tested using Razor Enhanced with the ClassicUO client (not the Classic client from UO.com). Links have been provided below and each site has instructions for how to setup their respective client/launcher/assistant. If you need help, join our Discord and one of our players or staff will be happy to assist!

Official Client

Download

Standard UO classic client (required): https://downloads.eamythic.com/uo/installers/UOClassicSetup_7_0_24_0.exe – this is the base game classic client from OSI/Electronic Arts and is required by launchers. You can also use the Enhanced Client if you prefer. If you wish to use one of the launchers or assistants below you will need to configure the location where you installed the official client in order to access the official game files.

Patching

When new items are added into the game, the official client will need to be patched. You can patch the official client by launching it as if you were going to connect to the official servers.

Popular Launchers and/or Assistants

ClassicUO

https://www.classicuo.eu/ – This comes with its own built in launcher and can also be used with Razor Enhanced for extra functionality. This is different to the official classic client.

TazUO

https://github.com/PlayTazUO/TUO-Launcher – Taz is a modded version of the ClassicUO launcher above and builds on it with more options. The legacy channel of TazUO can be used with Razor Enhanced.

OrionUO

http://orionuo.online/ – Orion has scripting functions built in.

Razor Enhanced

https://razorenhanced.net/ – An assistant to give further functionality including built in agents such as auto-loot and auto-heal and scripting.

UOSteam

https://www.uosteam.com/ – UOSteam has scripting functions and agents built in.
