Unicorns are part of the rarity system! The hue changes color with each rarity as well as the following:

Uncommon – change in hue
Rare – change in hue, no armor ignore
Epic – change in hue, no armor ignore, 1 slot pet
Legendary – change in hue, no armor ignore, 1 slot pet and gains healing
