Skill Masteries can be quite powerful and beneficial to use. A mastery offers special abilities that can be used by a character with at least 90 skill.
To use a mastery, the character must have a Book of Masteries and the skill primer for the skill.
- Most mastery primers can be earned from doing Champ Spawns.
- Bard masteries are only available through quests which also award the Book of Masteries.
- The Book of Masteries can also be purchased from the new player stone at the Original Rune Library

Animal Taming
Once you are at 90 real skill in animal taming, you can use the "Combat Training" master repeatedly to get to your skill cap in animal taming, even 120. This will also raise your animal lore.

- Target the creature
- Repeat
Provocation
Use the mastery over and over. You can get to 115 provocation!
