Many pets can spawn with a rarity. A higher rarity can change the pets color, slots, starting special abilities, and even add abilities they could not normally get.
What's the chance that a pet can spawn at a higher rarity? For most pets, their chance is determined at spawn. This chance is not attached to the player in the current area.
Uncommon is 1 in 10
Rare is 1 in 100
Epic is 1 in 1000
Legendary is 1 in 10000
The exception is the Dragon Wolf. It's rarity is determined when it is tamed. The chance increases as the player tames more.
See Rarity Pets for the pets in this system.
