Ki-rin are no longer restricted to males only on Insane UO. Anyone can tame and ride one.
They have also been updated to be more useful to more players. They now mirror unicorns with poison immunity.
They are part of the rarity system! The hue changes color with each rarity as well as the following:
- Uncommon – change in hue
- Rare – change in hue, no armor ignore
- Epic – change in hue, no armor ignore, 1 slot pet
- Legendary – change in hue, no armor ignore, 1 slot pet and gains healing
